First Aid NQF Level 1

First Aid NQF Level 1It is mandatory for employers to have trained first aiders and necessary first aid resources available in the workplace. The ability to administer effective first aid in a timely manner can be a critical factor in determining the outcome of an emergency event or illness.

Course Details:

Duration

2-day training program including practical assignment submission.

Cost

The cost of the course is R975.00, exclusive of VAT.

Certification

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance within 14 days after successful completion of the program.

Venues

Training can be held on-premises at your organisation with a minimum of 8 attendees, or at one of our designated training centres located in Johannesburg North, Durban, Port Elizabeth, or Cape Town.

Positioning and elementary anatomy and physiology.

Scene survey and casualty assessment.

Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking.

Shock and fainting.

Bleeding, wounds and burns.

Fractures, sprains and strains.

Head, spinal, chest and abdominal injuries.

Environmental emergencies, bites, stings and poisoning.

Medical emergencies.

Triage and record keeping.

Demonstrate an understanding of elementary anatomy and physiology
