First Aid, Fire and Evacuation Responder Skills Program
The skills program for first aid response, firefighting, and evacuation will cover all the specified outcomes and modules outlined in the relevant unit standards.
Skills Program Overview
To fulfil the training requirement of 11 credits (110 hours), delegates must participate in 5 days of in-person instruction and 8 days of on-the-job practical training. First Aid, Fire and Safety training will handle uploading delegate information onto the Health and Welfare SETA portal and coordinate a verification visit for competent delegates to receive endorsement from HWSETA. However, this can be a time-consuming process which we have no control over, taking anywhere from 4 to 6 months or longer due to verification and endorsement procedures.
